Becki Newton

Becki grew up at Guilford, Connecticut. In her teens and began acting in local productions, including performances for the summer season and in community theater. While studying European History at Penn, she also spent a few semesters in Europe. Becki was immediately moved to NYC upon graduation, to pursue Broadway. She has appeared in dozens national commercials, guest starring and in recurring roles like Cold Case (2003) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1998), American Dreams (2002) and got Amanda's part on Ugly Betty (2007). She has a brother named Matt Newton is an actor along with her partner Chris Diamantopoulos. They're gorgeous, but they're not models of the highest caliber. It's a blessing that I get to delegate the work to pros when it comes to work and red carpet events as I'm not sure I'm a pro. With regards to my appearance, I'm open to trying the new stuff. It can be fun to look glamorous! The time spent getting dressed isn't about being fussy and taking good care of myself. You can be a little naughty.
