Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actress. She's appeared in a variety of TV and film shows, such as "Christy", the comedy about a teenage girl named Christy Huddleston. Additionally, she's known as the star of the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Born to a department-store buyer as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin began her acting career when she was just seven, when her aunt who was an nanny to actor Michael Landon's kids, was able to help her get an appearance in the 1982 series "Father Murphy.". After graduating of Yale University she began to take acting seriously, landing roles on both the smaller screen as well as on the big. Martin has also been a photographer and a dancer.
