Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was previously a supermodel, is a film director. Known for her elegant beauty her long-standing presence in the competitive film industry reflects her talents and abilities as performer. She started her career as a model in the 1970s and soon became one of the most prominent figures in modeling. Then, in the mid 1990s, she began studying acting and theatre.
